Senior IT Specialist, M365 Administrator

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day administration of the M365 tenant, including Teams, Power Platform, Planner, and SharePoint.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication failures, Entra MFA issues, and SSO integrations.
• Monitor and fine-tune Zero Trust Conditional Access policies to ensure secure end-user access.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks, bulk licensing, and reporting using Microsoft Graph PowerShell.
• Conduct regular audits of M365 license utilization to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with enterprise agreements.
• Develop training materials and documentation to drive M365 adoption and provide technical support to other departments.
• Create and maintain detailed runbooks and standard operating procedures for service desk escalations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase automation and accelerate the deployment of M365 solutions.

What we're looking for

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of dedicated experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Deep, practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID including conditional access, app registrations, and enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex identity and authentication traffic.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, specifically the Microsoft Graph module, for scripting and automation.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security frameworks and enterprise governance principles.
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards relevant to defense or discrete manufacturing sectors (preferred).
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and basic cloud resource management (preferred).
