Senior Information Security Threat Hunting Specialist II

What you'll do

• Investigate fraudulent activity including account takeovers and unauthorized new account creations across digital and voice channels.
• Utilize digital forensic tools like behavioral biometrics and device fingerprinting to detect fraud indicators and reconstruct events.
• Evaluate multi-factor authentication, IVR interactions, and deepfake detection tools to identify social engineering and impersonation attempts.
• Analyze large datasets to determine root causes, attack patterns, and existing control gaps in the security environment.
• Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies including blocking rules, alerting logic, and detection models.
• Monitor internal fraud trends and the external threat landscape to proactively protect customer accounts and data.
• Test and implement new fraud detection controls in coordination with technology, operations, and product teams.

What we're looking for

• A university degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience is required; 5+ years is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Fraud, Risk, or Cybersecurity are required.
• Experience with digital risk forensic tools, telephony, and ANI risk detection (preferred).
• Experience with online authentication, identification, registration, login, and transactional activity (preferred).
• Experience with Splunk, Tableau, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (preferred).
• Experience in root cause analysis and link analysis (preferred).
• Experience in alerting and case management systems (preferred).
