What you'll do

  • Perform threat hunts to identify and catalog new attacker TTPs, victims, and indicators of compromise.
  • Research, analyze, and contextualize intelligence regarding threat actors, tools, techniques, and vulnerabilities.
  • Enrich threat intelligence with detailed detection logic and specific security recommendations.
  • Conduct digital forensics and incident response investigations to protect enterprise customers.
  • Create technical briefings for internal and external teams regarding the latest security threats.
  • Develop and integrate investigation best practices into Microsoft products and tooling.
  • Produce new content based on business needs and customer feedback.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Security, or related field and 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Security, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Equivalent experience to the specified degree and experience requirements.
  • Ability to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
  • Must provide proof of citizenship or U.S. permanent residency for export control compliance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance (preferred).
  • 5+ years professional experience in software development lifecycle and cybersecurity or a master's in computer science or related field (preferred).
  • Technical certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, SANS GIAC, or Azure (preferred).
