Senior InfoSec Analyst

What you'll do

• Monitor and investigate security incidents using SIEM, UEBA, Threat Intel, and EDR tools.
• Perform advanced threat hunting using custom queries, behavioral analysis, and threat modeling frameworks.
• Act as the primary escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 security investigations.
• Provide incident response support and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve confirmed security threats.
• Develop and maintain SOAR workflows, playbooks, and automated tools to improve SOC efficiency.
• Create security dashboards, metrics, and executive-level reports on emerging trends and threat landscapes.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical expertise to other departments.
• Maintain and update internal security documentation, including incident reports and knowledge base articles.

What we're looking for

• Must have the permanent right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience working in an information security or cyber security role.
• Knowledge of security methodologies such as Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Models, MITRE ATT&CK, and D3FEND frameworks.
• Proficiency with technical solutions including SIEM, UEBA, Threat Intel, EDR, SOAR, firewalls, and network behavior analytics.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, FTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, HTTP) and common malware attack methodologies.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, .NET, Ruby, Java, or C.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and desirable certifications like GCIA, GCIH, Security+, or OSCP.
