Senior Hardware Engineer

What you'll do

• Specify technical product documentation and lead formal reviews.
• Architect system block diagrams with major Networking ASIC suppliers.
• Design networking switches and perform schematics, layout, and design validation.
• Execute hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and build yield bring-up with ODM/JDM partners.
• Work with component suppliers to develop high-performance and cost-effective technologies.
• Triage, debug, and root cause major customer issues during the sustaining stage.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to bring products to market through all NPI phases.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer engineering with 7 years of networking equipment hardware system design experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of experience in networking equipment hardware system design.
• Prior experience working with multi-gigabit Ethernet and Power-over Ethernet (PoE) technology.
• Experience with schematics, layout, hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and system-level testing.
• Experience working with software teams on system bring-up, porting, and register-level device configuration.
• Familiarity with networking technologies and concepts (preferred).
• Prior experience working on high-volume and cost-sensitive products (preferred).
• Experience with bringing products to production and working with teams across different time-zones (preferred).
