What you'll do

Develop and implement comprehensive export compliance programs covering U.S. (EAR/ITAR) and global trade regulations.
Lead export compliance due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships including sanctions screening.
Design scalable mechanisms for tangible and intangible exports, deemed exports, licensing, and classifications.
Execute country-specific export readiness assessments to facilitate entry into new international markets.
Manage ongoing export compliance obligations across multiple countries of operation based on local requirements.
Conduct foreign national reviews and make export license determinations for hiring and contractor engagement.
Provide expert guidance on EAR and ITAR requirements within cloud and AI computing environments.
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to simplify and strengthen the global export compliance program.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status.
5+ years of experience in HR, privacy, legal, compliance, or risk management.
5+ years of export compliance experience in a global corporate environment.
Strong understanding of U.S. export regulations including EAR and ITAR.
Experience managing export compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.
Experience with export licensing, foreign national reviews, and deemed export determinations.
Experience with IT system controls, cloud computing, and AI environments.
