Senior Engineer - Antenna Fleet Operations

What you'll do

• Assess and improve the performance of globally distributed ground gateway terminals.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and remediate antenna faults, alarms, and anomalies both remotely and on-site.
• Perform physical site visits to conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting of gateway antennas.
• Maintain and update antenna calibrations and perform software upgrades for antenna components.
• Design system test processes and document at-scale mechanisms for troubleshooting and remediation.
• Serve as a technical leader and escalation point for the Antenna Fleet Operations team.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing coaching on diagnostics, design reviews, and procedure development.
• Develop training plans and materials to build team capability and operational quality.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF, Aerospace, or another technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of satellite communications ground systems and operations experience.
• 2+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in design and commission of radio/mobile telecommunications/RAN installations or SATCOM earth stations.
• Experience in root cause analysis, problem solving, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and write procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% to gateway locations for on-site fault analysis and troubleshooting.
