As a Sr. Electrical Test Development Engineer, Customer Hardware (Starlink), you will join the team responsible for developing test solutions that characterize the reliability and performance of high-volume consumer devices, including phased arrays, Wi-Fi routers, and power supplies. You will own the design, implementation, and verification of development, production, and reliability test solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to move products from concept to full-scale production. Your daily work involves selecting commercial-off-the-shelf hardware or designing custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads. You will write automation software in Python to interact with instrumentation and production systems. Key technical requirements include experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers, as well as proficiency in C/C++, circuit analysis, and environmental testing such as HALT, HASS, thermal, vibration, and TVAC.
