What you'll do

Conceptualize and develop automated electrical test systems to validate flight hardware.
Define and document test system requirements, coverage, designs, and operational strategies.
Design and produce physical test assets including racks, electrical panels, fixtures, and PCBAs.
Select commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
Use Python to interact with units under test, test equipment, and production documentation systems.
Analyze data collected on-orbit and in production to drive continual design improvements.
Provide hands-on support for hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight phases.
Ensure all systems are designed and produced in compliance with safety requirements like UL and NFPA.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
1+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering (internship experience is acceptable).
Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible for required Department of State authorizations.
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar engineering degree (preferred).
Experience analyzing circuits, developing functional test plans, and troubleshooting PCBAs (preferred).
Strong understanding of computers and programming languages including Python, C/C++, and TwinCAT (preferred).
Experience with RF testing, test equipment, and environmental testing such as HALT/HASS or TVAC (preferred).
