What you'll do

Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
Select commercial-off-the-shelf components and design custom PCBAs to measure signals and power units.
Write Python automation software to interact with test equipment, field data, and production systems.
Perform electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures to replicate anomalies.
Provide hands-on support for hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight phases.
Analyze on-orbit and lab data to drive continuous improvements to hardware designs.
Conduct root cause analysis of systemic production issues to improve product quality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
At least 1 year of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
Experience designing and troubleshooting PCBAs and analyzing circuits to develop functional test plans.
Experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Understanding of electrical schematics, electronics manufacturing, and failure mechanisms.
Knowledge of environmental testing methods such as HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration, and TVAC.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
