Corporate Process Safety Specialist

What you'll do

• Provide technical expertise and leadership to achieve sustained process safety performance improvements globally.
• Develop and refine process safety standards, including training, tools, communication, and audit requirements.
• Lead teams in conducting hazard assessment reviews such as LOPA scenarios and management of change requests.
• Review and implement process safety assessment strategies for HAZOP and other risk mitigation techniques.
• Advise on process safety technologies to mitigate risks in partnership with manufacturing and CAPEX project teams.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and share findings across facilities to prevent future occurrences.
• Conduct global process safety audits and coach internal networks of subject matter experts.
• Participate in external benchmarking and trade association engagement to identify and integrate new technologies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline.
• Five years of process safety experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Master’s degree or higher in an engineering, science, or EHS related discipline (preferred).
• Certifications such as CCPSC, PE, CSP, or other related EHS credentials (preferred).
• Expertise in hazard assessment tools and programs to control risks of unplanned events (preferred).
• Experience with global, regional, or state process safety regulations and risk reduction strategies (preferred).
• Working knowledge in one or more EHS professional disciplines such as worker safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental compliance (preferred).
• Previous experience in process engineering, design engineering, or manufacturing (preferred).
