What you'll do

  • Direct the centralized engineering organization that builds and owns all CTC Architecture software products.
  • Organize software engineers into product-aligned pods covering threat modeling, automation, and quality platforms.
  • Own technical architecture decisions across the portfolio and serve as the escalation point for production incidents.
  • Allocate pooled engineering capacity based on the annual Operating Plan, portfolio priority, and risk reduction.
  • Establish engineering standards, operating models, and delivery practices consistently across all pods.
  • Manage hiring, performance, staffing, and career development for the combined software engineering team.
  • Define and track delivery, quality, and adoption metrics to tie engineering investment to measurable outcomes.
  • Provide engineering sign-off on release readiness alongside CTC Architecture domain leads.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certificate with 15+ years of experience building and shipping software at enterprise scale.
  • Experience leading software engineering teams, including performance management, staffing, and career development.
  • Track record of delivering and operating a platform or tool that other engineering teams depend on, ideally incorporating AI/ML.
  • Experience leading a centralized or shared-services engineering team that serves multiple product owners and manages finite capacity.
  • Track record of standing up or restructuring an engineering organization, including operating models and delivery standards.
  • Command of modern software delivery at scale, including architecture, SRE, DevOps, quality engineering, and production operations.
  • Experience partnering with product management on roadmaps, business cases, and investment decisions.
  • Working knowledge of secure-by-design engineering and financial-services regulatory expectations.
  • Prior experience leading an internal platform, product engineering, or security tooling organization at a large enterprise (preferred).
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/LLM systems in production, including evaluation, guardrails, and model governance (preferred).
  • Experience integrating engineering teams that previously reported into separate leaders (preferred).
  • Familiarity with pooled capacity models and experience setting hiring, leveling, or development standards for senior technical talent (preferred).
  • CISSP, CISM, advanced cloud architecture certifications, or comparable senior credentials (preferred).
