Director of Security Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead and scale a globally distributed organization of engineers delivering high-impact security platforms and services.
• Own the strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of an AI-driven security copilot for risk identification.
• Manage the design, deployment, and operation of endpoint and server anti-virus capabilities across heterogeneous environments.
• Deliver container security products including image scanning, policy enforcement, and runtime protection.
• Partner with product and infrastructure teams to embed security controls into developer and operational workflows.
• Set technical direction and architectural standards for scalable, resilient, and automated security engineering solutions.
• Translate firm-wide security objectives into measurable engineering roadmaps, milestones, and outcomes.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and profit and loss for the security engineering organization.

What we're looking for

• Experience running teams of engineers that deliver security solutions and operations on cloud-based platforms and applications.
• Experience building security engineering products and platforms used by developers and security practitioners at scale.
• Experience developing and leading globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing top engineering and technical leadership talent.
• Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager, including roadmap ownership and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong expertise in endpoint, server, and workload protection technologies across modern enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver AI-enabled or automation-driven platforms that materially improve security outcomes.
• Experience designing and operating container security capabilities across large-scale Kubernetes or containerized environments.
