Director of Security Engineering, SaaS Intelligence

What you'll do

• Lead the reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security engineering decisioning and delivery.
• Own engineering execution for SaaS application onboarding at scale, including connector development and integration validation.
• Set and enforce engineering standards for code quality, API design, and pre-production testing.
• Manage delivery planning and execution for team sprints and quarterly commitments while identifying risks for senior leadership.
• Establish governance standards for AI-assisted workflows to ensure traceability, auditability, and security alignment.
• Develop engineers through coaching, structured code reviews, and the enforcement of delivery quality standards.
• Deliver technical security solutions that can be leveraged across multiple business domains.
• Manage decisions regarding team resources, budgets, tactical operations, and the implementation of internal processes.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
• Experience leading teams of engineers delivering security solutions on cloud-based platforms and public cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading teams in the safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security engineering workflows.
• Demonstrated experience developing engineers through coaching, structured code reviews, and setting delivery quality standards.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing engineering talent across multiple levels.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS Security Posture Management, SaaS AI Observability, and SaaS Secure Service Access (preferred).
• Experience with secrets management patterns and credential governance (preferred).
• Experience operating within a financial services or similarly regulated environment (preferred).
