JOB TITLE: Sr. Director, NAPD Domain Architect
The Sr. Director, NAPD Domain Architect leads the architecture for the North American Pharmaceutical Distribution business. This leader builds and manages the NAPD architecture function, overseeing the end-to-end technology landscape to ensure coherence across Supply Chain Modernization, Pricing, Customer Performance Management, and Connect Ordering programs. Key responsibilities include defining architecture strategies, managing the architecture community of practice, and ensuring solutions are interoperable and aligned with digital transformation objectives. The role requires expertise in enterprise integration, API architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and platform-based ecosystems. Candidates should possess skills in Microsoft technology ecosystems, Azure cloud services, Power Platform, and SAP platform integration. This position solves the complex problem of maintaining a unified, scalable, and secure technology portfolio within a highly regulated pharmaceutical distribution environment.
Maintain a current NAPD architecture landscape to provide end-to-end visibility into the technology portfolio.
Identify and surface duplication and rationalization opportunities to reduce redundancy across transformation programs.
Lead the NAPD Architecture Community of Practice to establish patterns, standards, and shared design principles.
Build, lead, and develop the NAPD architecture team through hiring, succession planning, and performance management.
Define and execute the NAPD architecture strategy aligned with digital transformation objectives for supply chain and pricing.
Partner with the Enterprise Architecture board to deploy governance frameworks, technology lifecycles, and roadmaps.
Define API, integration, and interoperability strategies to improve business agility and customer outcomes.
Partner with executives to prioritize investments, manage the architecture budget, and oversee transformation programs.
What we're looking for
13+ years of professional experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or related strategic technology disciplines.
6+ years of diversified leadership experience driving architectural direction, technology roadmaps, and team leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation programs across complex organizations.
