The Executive Director Enterprise Architect leads the enterprise architecture function, setting the technology vision, standards, and governance to align business strategy with scalable, secure platforms. Translate business strategy and digital transformation priorities into a coherent, multi-year enterprise technology roadmap.
Establish and lead the enterprise architecture governance framework, including review boards and design authority processes.
Lead technology rationalization efforts to identify opportunities to consolidate, retire, or modernize legacy platforms.
Serve as a trusted architecture advisor to business unit leaders to translate business problems into technology-enabled solutions.
Provide senior oversight and quality assurance for solution architectures developed by domain and solution architects across the enterprise.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing architecture team while mentoring architects on technical depth and career growth.
Present enterprise architecture strategy, roadmaps, and investment recommendations to executive leadership and technology governance forums.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
17+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or technology leadership roles is required.
10+ years in senior leadership roles guiding architecture, engineering, or technology strategy teams within a large, complex, global organization is required.
Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF or Zachman is required.
Strong technical grounding in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise integration, data architecture, and application architecture patterns is required.
Experience leading architecture functions within a global, matrixed organization is required.
Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing architecture teams is required.
