JOB TITLE: Sr. Director, NAPD Domain Architect
The Sr. Director, NAPD Domain Architect leads the architecture for the North American Pharmaceutical Distribution business. This leader builds and manages the NAPD architecture function, overseeing the end-to-end technology landscape to ensure a coherent, connected architecture across multiple transformation programs. Key responsibilities include defining architecture strategies for Supply Chain Modernization, Pricing, Customer Performance Management, and Connect Ordering, while managing the architecture team and Community of Practice. The role requires expertise in enterprise integration, API architecture, microservices, and distributed systems, alongside experience with Azure cloud services, Power Platform, and SAP platforms. The position solves the complex business problem of maintaining portfolio-wide visibility and interoperability within a highly regulated pharmaceutical distribution environment, ensuring that diverse digital transformation initiatives remain scalable, secure, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Maintain a current NAPD architecture landscape to provide end-to-end visibility into the technology portfolio.
Identify and surface duplication and rationalization opportunities across transformation programs to reduce redundancy.
Lead the NAPD Architecture Community of Practice to establish shared patterns, standards, and design principles.
Build, hire, and develop the NAPD architecture team through performance management and succession planning.
Define and execute the architecture strategy for Supply Chain, Pricing, and Customer Performance Management.
Partner with the Enterprise Architecture board to deploy governance frameworks and technology lifecycle roadmaps.
Define API, integration, and interoperability strategies to improve business agility and customer outcomes.
Collaborate with executives to prioritize investments, manage architecture budgets, and align with digital transformation goals.
What we're looking for
13+ years of professional experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or related strategic technology disciplines.
6+ years of diversified leadership experience driving architectural direction, technology roadmaps, and team leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation programs across complex organizations.
