As a Senior Data Engineer at Disney+, you will join the Commerce, Data & Identity team to build and maintain scalable data processing pipelines for their Identity Householding Data products. What you'll do

Build and maintain data products for enterprise-wide customer identifiers and groupings.

Participate in on-call support and regular Agile ceremonies like stand-ups and retrospectives.
Develop scalable, fault-tolerant data processing pipelines for real-time and batch data delivery.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in big data engineering and developing large-scale data pipelines
Expertise in distributed systems like Databricks with tools such as Spark, Presto, Hive for querying petabyte-level datasets
Proficiency in Python, Scala/Spark, and SQL for processing big datasets
Experience with major MPP or cloud database technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
Strong data modeling techniques and data warehousing methodologies knowledge
Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and data integration/orchestration tools like Airflow
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a multi-system production environment
