What you'll do

Build and maintain data lake and data warehouse solutions for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
Develop data pipelines and infrastructure as code using clean code practices.
Lead code and design reviews for junior and peer developers.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance, scalability, and security issues within the data system.
Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve system performance and data processing.
Participate in data governance processes and contribute to platform documentation.
Implement test automation solutions to optimize data performance.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of related experience or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, data engineering, or a related field.
Experience in modern data architecture, analytics, data governance, AI/ML, or related areas.
Experience with AWS big data technologies including EMR, Glue, S3, EKS, Lambda, Athena, RDS, and MKS/Kafka/Kinesis.
Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, Postgres) and Python.
Experience with DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployment/Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
Exposure with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
Experience with multi-tenant, B2B2C SaaS offerings (preferred); FinTech industry experience (preferred); AWS CloudFormation/Terraform (preferred); and MPP Data Warehouse (preferred).
