Senior Controls Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop user requirement specifications, automation concepts, and architectural designs for automated equipment.
• Design and program industrial control systems including PLCs, robotics, HMIs, vision systems, and motion control.
• Manage end-to-end project execution including budgeting, scheduling, installation, and troubleshooting with external suppliers.
• Oversee the commissioning and training of automated systems to ensure they meet technical standards.
• Maintain and support manufacturing equipment for material handling, liquid filling, capping, labeling, and palletizing.
• Ensure all automation projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal safety standards.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues within industrial control environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Mechatronics/Automation with 5+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree in engineering or Mechatronics/Automation with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in PLC programming using ladder logic and structured text.
• Experience with AC/DC drives, servo motors, HMIs, machine vision, and safety systems.
• Ability to manage automation objectives including debugging, installation, equipment commissioning, and training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts for team review.
• Proactive mindset for process optimization and problem-solving.
• Preferred experience with Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, Cognex vision systems, industrial robotics, and CAD modeling.
