Associate Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform electrical engineering design for aircraft systems integration including avionics upgrades and power distribution.
• Support ongoing aircraft systems modifications by applying electrical requirements during the design and integration phases.
• Plan and verify electrical interface and power tests in both laboratory and on-aircraft environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical interface issues during testing.
• Create professional drawings, technical documents, and reports for engineering projects.
• Manage project budgets and schedules while serving as a task leader within the electrical engineering team.
• Mentor junior team members on electrical engineering integration design and testing procedures.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field with 0-2 years of experience, or a Graduate Degree with 0-2 years of experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in the integration of systems involving wiring and signal interfaces.
• Experience in at least one electrical CAD tool such as Visual Engineer, AutoCAD Electrical, or Capital Harness.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance (preferred).
• Mid-level knowledge of Visual Engineer, AutoCAD Electrical, or Capital Harness (preferred).
• Familiarity with aircraft and military design standards such as SAE AS50881, MIL-STD-704, and others (preferred).
