What you'll do

Develop instrumentation systems for component tests, system integration lab tests, and aircraft ground/flight tests.
Design system architecture, select components, program systems, and document configurations via drawings and schematics.
Assemble physical instrumentation systems and ensure proper function and calibration.
Install, operate, and maintain instrumentation systems to retrieve and reduce data during test efforts.
Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical tasks including soldering, harness fabrication, and troubleshooting.
Utilize CAD software and data acquisition tools like LabVIEW, PXI, and various avionics data buses.
Fly onboard civilian or military aircraft to operate and maintain instrumentation systems during flight tests.
Coordinate test activities and schedules with project managers, pilots, and customers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with two years of experience developing instrumentation systems for component, lab, and aircraft tests.
Graduate degree with zero years of experience developing instrumentation systems for component, lab, and aircraft tests.
Six years of experience developing instrumentation systems in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Must successfully pass Class III Flight Certification including physical, altitude chamber, and survival training.
Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office tools, and CAD software.
Hands-on electrical and mechanical skills including soldering, harness fabrication, and troubleshooting.
U.S. citizens.
