Senior Analyst, Technical, AI Cost Management

What you'll do

• Design showback and chargeback models for token spend across GenAI platforms and LLM agents.
• Build and maintain cost-optimization models and supporting tools to ensure efficient scaling of AI spend.
• Manage the license program for OpenAI, Anthropic, and Glean, including seat verification and reclamation.
• Attribute costs to specific teams and reclaim unused spend or seats as a standing discipline.
• Monitor user and workload costs to flag anomalies to platform and product owners before they impact budgets.
• Feed cost views and token attribution data into the Council measures dashboard for leadership reporting.
• Partner with engineering and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost attribution and usage-based chargebacks.

What we're looking for

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or a related field, though equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 4-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost management, technology spend optimization, or vendor/license management.
• Proficiency in cost attribution, chargeback modeling, anomaly detection, and license management.
• Skills in Agile methodology, requirements analysis, stakeholder management, technical writing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AI/LLM platform cost structures and enterprise AI platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Glean (preferred).
• Familiarity with FinOps practices, cloud cost management, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
