Senior Analyst, Technology Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on administration and technical support for data governance platforms including Alation, Anomalo, MANTA, and Semarchy.
• Perform AWS-based engineering tasks to ensure the stability, security, and availability of data infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts and manage integrations using Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Execute production engineering processes including incident management, root cause analysis, and change management.
• Manage system capacity by analyzing reports, implementing enhancements, and remediating identified issues.
• Conduct proactive maintenance, disaster recovery planning, data backups, and hardware/software upgrades.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing for internal teams and stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least two years of experience developing and implementing integrated solutions.
• Experience in testing and debugging integrated solutions is required.
• Proficiency in Python development, SQL, and REST APIs/API integration is required.
• Knowledge of Cloud/AWS fundamentals, Git source control, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions and Harness) is required.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, system management processes, and IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions is required.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field are preferred.
• Technology certifications or designations such as AWS or Azure are encouraged (preferred).
• Experience with data platforms like Alation, Snowflake, Databricks, or insurance/financial services knowledge is a plus (preferred).
