What you'll do

Lead manufacturing engineering for mechanical hardware focusing on supply chain readiness and production scalability.
Own the mechanical supply chain strategy by managing supplier capabilities and component sourcing.
Serve as the primary technical interface between suppliers, contract manufacturers, procurement, and operations teams.
Execute New Product Introduction activities including supplier onboarding and first article inspections.
Resolve technical tradeoffs regarding material costs, lead times, and supplier capacity.
Manage supplier performance to improve production yields and resolve manufacturing issues.
Conduct technical assessments for mechanical fabrication and precision manufacturing capabilities.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field is required.
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
4+ years of mechanical engineering experience focusing on manufacturing, supply chain, or production engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX) including GD&T, DFM analysis, and creating supplier-ready drawing packages.
Proven track record in New Product Introduction (NPI), supplier qualification, and production ramp.
Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement processes, vendor management, and aerospace standards like AS9100.
Experience with contract manufacturing, offshore supplier development, and PLM/ERP systems such as Teamcenter or SAP.
