As an Advanced Space Systems Engineer, you will join the GDMS team to analyze, design, develop, and test systems ensuring the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, and safety. What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, and performance analysis for system elements.
Conduct trade studies, system design, and interface definition studies.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architectures and overall system architectures for space-based systems.
Execute systems integration, verification, and validation of hardware and software components.
Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to manage requirements and model system behavior.
Manage the full systems development life cycle using Agile methodologies and technical standards.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Active TS/SCI clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field is required.
5 years of job-related experience is required, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithm development for space-based systems is preferred.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Agile methodologies are preferred.
Experience with MBSE tools like MagicDraw/Cameo and hardware integration is preferred.
Experience with SmallSats, CubeSats, and Space Payloads is preferred.
