What you'll do

Analyze, design, develop, and test systems to ensure integration of software, hardware, reliability, and safety requirements.
Perform requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, and performance analysis.
Conduct system design, trade studies, systems integration, test verification, and validation.
Formulate operational concepts and perform mission, functional, cost-benefit, and risk analyses.
Develop signal processing architecture and overall system architecture for space-based systems.
Execute hardware prototype development, FlatSat, and hardware-in-the-loop systems integration and testing.
Manage requirements and system modeling using Digital Engineering or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Department of Defense TS/SCI clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Agile experience (preferred).
Experience with Digital Engineering, MBSE, SySML, MagicDraw, or Cameo (preferred).
Experience in Python (highly preferred).
Experience with SmallSats, CubeSats, or Space Payloads (preferred).
