What you'll do

Develop and design custom in-house silicon and hardware for on-orbit space deployment.
Apply chip design and development knowledge to unique aerospace applications.
Work with cross-disciplinary teams on systems, firmware, architecture, and ASIC implementation.
Perform hardware engineering tasks including VLSI, logic, or circuit design.
Utilize programming languages and tools such as C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, and Python.
Execute hardware validation and verification using formal methods or simulation tools.
Solve complex engineering problems in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.

What we're looking for

Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
Must have 3+ months of software development, hardware engineering, or chip design/development experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Must be able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January or March 2027.
GPA of 3.5 or above (preferred).
6+ months of internship or project work in computer architecture, VLSI design, logic design, or circuit design (preferred).
Understanding of formal methods or verification (preferred).
Experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Timing, Synthesis, Ansys, or COMSOL (preferred).
