What you'll do

Develop and design custom in-house silicon and hardware for space deployment.
Apply engineering knowledge to chip design and development for aerospace applications.
Work with cross-disciplinary teams on systems, firmware, architecture, and ASIC implementation.
Perform hardware engineering tasks to support orbital and space-based technologies.
Solve complex technical problems related to silicon hardware and chip design.
Execute hardware validation and product engineering tasks for space-bound systems.

What we're looking for

Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
Must have 3+ months of software development, hardware engineering, or chip design/development experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Must be able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
GPA of 3.5 or above (preferred).
6+ months of internship or project work in computer architecture, VLSI design, logic design, or circuit design (preferred).
Understanding of formal methods or verification (preferred).
Experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Timing, Synthesis, Ansys, or COMSOL (preferred).
