Engineering Internship/Co-op

What you'll do

• Apply engineering knowledge to high-impact projects in design, manufacturing, or operations.
• Execute technical tasks within a dynamic professional environment with changing requirements.
• Interact frequently with technicians, engineers, and managers to complete project goals.
• Support the development of spacecraft systems including Dragon, Falcon, and Starship.
• Assist in the design, build, test, and operation of Starlink satellite components.
• Contribute to the development of AI systems and space-based solar energy infrastructure.
• Participate in professional development training and technical presentations from company leaders.

What we're looking for

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, physics, or math by the start of employment.
• Must have at least 3 months of applied engineering experience through internships, labs, or projects.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Preferred 6+ months of experience applying technical skills outside of the classroom.
• Ability to work effectively in an integrated collaborative team environment with technicians and managers.
• Ability to work in a dynamic professional setting with changing requirements.
• Must be able to work full-time, onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting in early 2027.
