Engineering Internship/Co-op

What you'll do

• Apply engineering knowledge to high-impact projects within design, manufacturing, or operations teams.
• Work closely with mentors and employees to develop technical skills and professional growth.
• Execute tasks in a dynamic professional setting with frequently changing needs and requirements.
• Interact frequently with technicians, other engineers, and managers to complete project goals.
• Support the development of spacecraft, launch vehicles, or satellite systems like Starship and Starlink.
• Contribute to the design, building, testing, and operation of aerospace hardware and software.

What we're looking for

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics, or math discipline by the start of employment.
• Must have 3+ months of applied engineering experience from internships, laboratories, or personal/team projects.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Must be able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
• Must be able to provide own transportation for positions at Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, McGregor, and Vandenberg.
• GPA of 3.5 or above (preferred).
• 6+ months of experience applying technical skills outside of the classroom (preferred).
• Ability to work well in an integrated collaborative team environment and a dynamic professional setting (preferred).
