What you'll do

  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems and NetApp storage units in secure program areas.
  • Install, upgrade, and patch Linux systems and engineering software tools to ensure reliability and data integrity.
  • Implement routine system updates and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools for deployment automation to increase operational efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical issues and strategies to management, engineering, and security teams.
  • Lead local IT projects and deliver tailored technical solutions based on program requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience, Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Four years of Linux and/or NetApp systems administration experience.
  • Two years of experience with VMware or similar virtualization solutions.
  • Current/active TS/SCI security clearance and CI Polygraph.
  • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or any DoD 8570 IAT level I or higher approved certification.
  • Ability to support overtime, lift equipment up to 50 LBS, and support up to 20% offsite travel.
  • Experience with Nessus Security Center, Cisco/Ariba Network, Windows DFS, Active Directory, or Commvault (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
