What you'll do

Administer and maintain multiple secure physical and virtual infrastructures across the organization.
Design, develop, build, and test new system infrastructure solutions.
Address user technical issues and conduct systems analysis to ensure technology remains current.
Perform vulnerability scanning and execute system remediation tasks.
Patch OS and vendor software on servers and network devices to maintain security compliance.
Monitor system performance and manage backups to ensure continuous system availability.
Implement security measures and controls including STIGs and CIS Benchmarks.
Research and troubleshoot complex technical issues as a subject matter expert.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
Equivalent relevant experience and certifications may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
Advanced knowledge of RedHat Linux, Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and related technologies.
Experience implementing Linux/Windows security controls (STIGs, CIS Benchmarks) and networking concepts.
Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery strategies, and change management systems.
Must meet DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher and complete CompTIA Security+ within 6 months.
