Senior Specialist, System Administration

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and Windows Server infrastructure in a multi-platform environment.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads including deploying, debugging, and running stateful components like databases and object storage.
• Automate routine tasks and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Monitor system performance, review application logs, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Implement security protocols, conduct regular system backups, and manage data recovery processes.
• Manage identity and access management systems including OIDC, OAuth2, and Keycloak.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, mapping, and service records.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and team members across multiple programs.

What we're looking for

• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Active security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with Linux administration, Windows Server management, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in virtualization (vSphere, KVM, Proxmox), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and configuration management.
• Familiarity with networking (SDN, NSX-T, load balancers), CI/CD tools, and identity management systems.
• U.S. citizens.
