Specialist Solutions Architect, Data

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert on Stripe's Data products to accelerate sales opportunities.
• Conduct deep discovery of customer data architectures to design solutions aligning Stripe's capabilities with their requirements.
• Advise customers on designing complex multi-entity and multi-currency reporting and integrating with BI tools or ERP systems.
• Partner with the Data product sales team to lead solution strategy and own key customer relationships.
• Create reusable assets and reference architectures to enhance the efficiency of the broader sales organization.
• Provide actionable insights on market trends and product gaps to influence the Stripe Data product roadmap.
• Resolve complex technical issues by acting as an escalation point to Stripe's engineering team.
• Represent technical health on quarterly sales forecast calls by highlighting deal blockers and proposing solutions.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions architecture role focusing on data platforms, analytics, or financial reporting.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data warehousing and pipeline architecture such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of how payments and revenue data maps to financial reporting and reconciliation workflows.
• Experience working with or implementing BI/analytics platforms like Looker, Tableau, Sigma, or Metabase.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering and API integration patterns, including how data pipelines are built and maintained.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships and deal effectively with ambiguity in fast-moving environments.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, advanced SQL skills, or pre-sales experience with Enterprise customers (preferred).
