JOB TITLE: Solution Architect - Strategy & Data Architecture As a Solution Architect within the Technology organization, you will lead strategy, architecture, and innovation across business, application, platform, and data domains. You will partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to bridge current business needs with future objectives by developing scalable technology and data strategies. Your daily responsibilities include designing solution roadmaps, defining data architecture patterns like logical and physical models, and governing data ecosystems including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming architectures. You will utilize skills in ETL architecture, machine learning, and the TOGAF framework to ensure systems meet scalability, security, and regulatory requirements. This role solves complex integration problems to optimize product offerings and operational efficiencies, ensuring that the bank’s portfolio of data assets and enabling platforms are leveraged to their full potential.

What you'll do

Design solution roadmaps and architectures for large programs in alignment with enterprise strategies and standards.
Develop and govern data architecture patterns including logical and physical models, canonical structures, and master data strategies.
Provide architectural leadership for data platforms such as data lakes, warehouses, and cloud-based data services.
Establish best practices for data modeling, integration, quality, metadata management, and lifecycle management.
Analyze business requirements to produce architecture recommendations that align technology and data strategies with business outcomes.
Ensure all architectures meet non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Consult with engineering teams on data design, integration patterns, storage technologies, and architectural tradeoffs.
Explore emerging technologies like AI/ML platforms and cloud-native services to develop strategic business viewpoints.

What we're looking for

Must have a university or college degree.
Must have 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
Must have a strong background in solution, platform, system, application, and data architecture.
Must have solid working knowledge of business architecture.
Must possess excellent written communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to design solution roadmaps, system architecture, and data models.
Must be able to manage risk and ensure compliance with enterprise risk management frameworks.
Preferred skills include Building Design, ETL Architecture, Machine Learning, and TOGAF.
