What you'll do

Design software based on requirements documents and system level design specifications.
Develop and implement C++ code for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop interfaces between hardware, firmware, and software.
Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Execute all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to formal testing.
Create software test plans, procedures, and relevant technical documentation.
Use modeling tools and equipment to conduct experimental tests and evaluate prototype results.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4 years of experience (or equivalent education/experience combinations).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the computer or software engineering field.
Minimum of 5 years of C++ development in a professional environment.
Active US Secret Clearance.
Experience developing and testing real-time embedded software (preferred).
Familiarity with Greenhills RTOS (preferred).
Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
