What you'll do

Design and implement software using C/C++ on Linux and embedded real-time operating systems.
Develop, test, and document software code for sonar systems and data acquisition.
Modify and enhance existing software for operational systems and test facilities.
Perform independent validation and verification of design concepts and implementation approaches.
Manage software configuration to ensure all code reflects current versions and revisions.
Evaluate design activities for compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and quality procedures.
Identify and report technical issues while recommending corrective actions for cost or schedule risks.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering and 4 years of experience, or a Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience.
At least 4 years of experience designing and implementing software in C/C++ languages.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen to be granted a security clearance.
QT IDE and UI Framework experience (preferred).
Experience in embedded software (preferred).
Linux development experience (preferred).
Understanding of user interface elements, tools, and development techniques (preferred).
