JOB TITLE: Specialist, Cyber Intelligence The Specialist, Cyber Intelligence joins the cybersecurity function to lead Risk Management Framework activities, system authorization, and continuous monitoring across multiple classified collateral programs. This role involves developing RMF authorization packages, assessing systems for compliance with security baselines, and interpreting requirements aligned with NIST, CNSSI, DoD, J SIG, and customer directives. You will guide engineering teams on security controls, conduct assessments, and manage artifacts like System Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones. Key technical skills include interpreting vulnerability and log data using Nessus, Tenable, ACAS, SIEM tools, and SCAP tools. You will also utilize DISA STIGs and potentially eMASS or Splunk. The work focuses on ensuring information assurance, audit readiness, and risk reduction for complex information systems within a defense context.

What you'll do

Lead the development, maintenance, and execution of RMF authorization packages across the system lifecycle.
Assess systems for compliance with security baselines, configurations, and government policies like NIST and DoD.
Conduct security control assessments to validate effectiveness and identify residual risks.
Prepare and maintain System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones.
Track vulnerabilities and deficiencies through remediation or formal risk acceptance.
Support continuous monitoring activities including vulnerability reviews, audit analysis, and change management.
Coordinate audits and inspections while supporting the resolution of any findings.
Mentor junior team members and provide subject matter guidance on RMF processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Active Secret clearance with TS eligibility.
Security+ CE certification.
Demonstrated experience developing and managing RMF authorization packages.
Experience supporting classified systems under DAAG, NISPOM, ICD 503, and NIST 800-53 Rev 5.
Experience interpreting vulnerability and log data using Nessus/Tenable, ACAS, and SIEM tools.
Experience with DISA STIGs and SCAP tools.
U.S. citizens.
