Sourcing Manager, Electronics (Starlink) joins the Starlink Supply Chain Department to support the Redmond production facility. This role is critical for enabling the development and production flow of Satellites and Gateways by executing strategic supply chain plans in coordination with engineering and manufacturing teams. The manager will develop sourcing strategies for connectors, PCBA, harnessing, and mechanical hardware while managing supplier bases, forecasting demand, and negotiating contracts to minimize cost and lead time. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering drawings and BOMs, overseeing outsource fabrication projects, and performing onsite vendor reviews. Key technical competencies include proficiency in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI, as well as experience with ERP systems, material planning, and manufacturing processes like sheet metal fabrication and various finishes. The role addresses the complex challenge of scaling production for a global satellite internet constellation.

What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, planning, operations, or supply chain management.
Alternatively, must have 7+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, planning, operations, or supply chain management.
Experience with MRP or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to manage bills of materials, work orders, and purchase orders.
Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, and sheet metal fabrication.
Familiarity with material finishes and coatings including paint, powder coat, anodize, and heat treatment.
APICS certification, Six Sigma certification, or similar professional certifications are preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
