Sourcing Manager (Cryogenics & Power Generation Capital) joins the launch site supply chain team to manage end-to-end global sourcing for critical components and capital equipment. The role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, mitigating risks, and executing cost reduction projects to support high-volume production ramps for the Starship program. Key responsibilities include performing advanced quantitative business process analyses, negotiating contracts with executive leadership, establishing preferred suppliers, and defining service level agreements. Candidates must possess experience in procurement for cryogenic systems, power generation hardware, or heavy manufacturing environments. Required skills include proficiency in MS Office Suite, SQL, and Power BI, alongside the ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering BOMs. The role addresses complex supply chain challenges involving specialized equipment like storage tanks, vacuum-jacketed piping, gas turbines, and air separation units for large-scale industrial infrastructure.
Manage end-to-end sourcing for cryogenic systems and power generation capital equipment.

What we're looking for
Must have an advanced degree and 3+ years, a bachelor's and 5+ years, or 9+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, logistics, contract negotiation, planning, operations, or supply chain management.
Must have at least 1 year of experience working with propellants, cryogenics, oil & gas bulk commodities, carriers, and/or large capital equipment procurement.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
Must be able to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral.
Strategic sourcing and capital equipment procurement experience in energy, industrial gas, or heavy manufacturing (preferred).
Experience sourcing cryogenic systems, power generation equipment, air separation units, or vacuum-insulated pressure vessels (preferred).
Ability to read technical drawings and work with engineering BOMs (preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SQL, Power BI, and other technical tools (preferred).
