What you'll do

Manage a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers to support product development and supply chain needs.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies focused on continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization.
Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance and reduce costs.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on supply chain health.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supply disruptions or changing market conditions.
Hire and train high-quality talent to support the rapid expansion of the sourcing team.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production role for complex mechanical/electrical assembly.
2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field (preferred).
Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or other related industries (preferred).
Proven leadership in driving large teams toward common goals and ability to perform as an individual contributor (preferred).
