The Solution Specialist joins the team to design, develop, and support processes that meet specific business requirements. This role involves gathering requirements, building application objects, and performing functional analysis to support global manufacturing operations. You will lead solution design, testing, and deployment activities for SAP Quality Management enhancements, ensuring systems conform to architecture standards. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting application, data, and integration issues, as well as developing functional specifications and knowledge transfer materials. You must possess deep knowledge of manufacturing quality management processes, including inspection processing, results recording, and batch quality management. Required skills include experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), cloud computing, and Agile methodologies. You will provide guidance to junior team members while ensuring reliable data flow across enterprise systems.
Gather and analyze business requirements for functional and technical areas using conceptual and practical knowledge.
Design, build, and implement application objects that meet business requirements and architecture standards.
Lead functional analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment for SAP Quality Management enhancements.
Resolve application, process, data, and integration issues using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Support quality execution processes including inspection lots, results recording, and quality notifications.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer materials.
Monitor and support interfaces between SAP Quality Management solutions and integrated applications.
Provide functional guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members and support resources.
What we're looking for
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, relevant military experience at or above U.S. E5 ranking, or 5 years of relevant experience.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to work legally in the United States.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience supporting SAP Quality Management (QM) solutions and related manufacturing applications in a production support and delivery environment (preferred).
Experience supporting or enhancing SAP and non-SAP quality and manufacturing applications, including custom solutions and integrated enterprise systems (preferred).
Experience with application support activities in a production environment, including issue triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution (preferred).
