JOB TITLE: Solution Architect - Strategy, Innovation and Delivery As a senior-level Solution Architect within the Technology organization, you will bridge current business needs with future objectives by developing technology and data strategies. You will partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to design scalable architectures for large-scale transformation initiatives across business, application, platform, and data domains. Your daily responsibilities include designing solution roadmaps, defining data architecture patterns like logical and physical models, and governing data ecosystems including data lakes, streaming architectures, and cloud-based services. You will utilize skills in software product design, risk assessments, and the Open Group Architecture Framework to ensure non-functional requirements like security and resiliency are met. This role solves complex integration problems to optimize product offerings and deliver a compelling client value proposition by leveraging the bank's portfolio of data assets.

What you'll do

Design solution roadmaps and architectures for complex programs in alignment with enterprise strategies and standards.
Define and govern data architecture patterns, including logical and physical data models and master data strategies.
Provide architectural leadership for data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and cloud-based data services.
Establish best practices for data modeling, integration, quality, metadata management, and lifecycle management.
Analyze business requirements to develop scalable architectures that support reporting, analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory use cases.
Consult with IT and data engineering teams on design patterns, storage technologies, and architectural tradeoffs.
Ensure all architectures meet non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
Explore emerging technologies like cloud-native data services and AI/ML platforms to drive business outcomes.

What we're looking for

Must have a university or college degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
Must have 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
Must have a strong background in solution, platform, system, application, and data architecture.
Must have solid working knowledge of business architecture.
Must possess excellent written communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to design solution roadmaps, system architectures, and data models aligned with enterprise strategies.
Must be able to manage risk and ensure architectures align with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Framework, Machine Learning, and TOGAF is preferred (preferred).
