The Technology Architect (AI & Data) joins the technology team to research, model, and integrate business and technology architectures aligned with corporate goals. This role involves leading end-to-end solution designs for core banking systems, data, and AI capabilities while translating business requirements into scalable, integrated designs. Key responsibilities include designing batch and real-time data pipelines for data lakes and OLTPs, defining non-functional requirements like resiliency and performance, and driving automation across deployment and monitoring. The position requires expertise in solution architecture, distributed systems, and AI-powered solutions including LLMs, RAG architectures, and Generative AI platforms. Candidates must utilize API-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud-native principles to solve complex banking problems involving data governance, privacy controls, and regulatory requirements within a high-stakes financial environment.
Lead end-to-end solution design for core banking systems, data, and AI capabilities.
Translate business requirements into scalable, integrated solution designs that avoid siloed implementations.
Design scalable batch and real-time data pipelines for ingestion and streaming across data lakes.
Define and drive non-functional requirements including resiliency, performance, scalability, and failure handling.
Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, and blueprints to validate designs early.
Drive automation architecture across build, testing, deployment, infrastructure, monitoring, and operations.
Evaluate technologies and vendor solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise platforms and strategic direction.
Identify technical debt and architectural risks to propose remediation or modernization plans.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
At least 10 years of experience developing and implementing applications.
At least 10 years of experience with the concepts, philosophies, and tools behind the design of applications and information technologies.
Strong expertise in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and Distributed Systems Design within complex enterprise environments (preferred).
Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-powered solutions, including LLMs, AI Agents, RAG architectures, and Generative AI platforms (preferred).
Deep knowledge of API-driven architectures, event-driven systems, messaging platforms, microservices, and cloud-native design principles (preferred).
Experience designing batch and real-time data pipelines, data products, analytics platforms, and modern data architectures (preferred).
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, privacy controls, and access management (preferred).
