As a Solution Architect Sr within the Technology organization, you will drive strategy, architecture, and innovation across business, application, platform, and data domains. You will bridge current state needs with future objectives by developing technical roadmaps and solution architectures that enable large-scale transformation initiatives. Your daily responsibilities include designing system and application designs for complex programs, governing data architecture patterns like logical and physical models, and providing leadership for data ecosystems including warehouses, lakes, and streaming architectures. You will ensure all solutions meet non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. The role requires expertise in platform architecture, machine learning, and the TOGAF framework to optimize product offerings and deliver client value. You will collaborate with engineering teams to manage integration patterns while navigating complex data flows to solve critical business problems.
Design solution architectures for large, complex programs including system, application, and data designs aligned with enterprise strategies.
Define and govern data architecture patterns such as logical/physical models, canonical structures, and master data strategies.
Provide architectural leadership for data platforms, including warehousing, lakehouses, streaming architectures, and cloud-based services.
Establish and enforce best practices for data modeling, integration, quality, metadata management, and lifecycle management.
Consult with engineering teams on data design, integration patterns, storage technologies, and technical trade-offs.
Develop solutions that meet non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
Analyze business requirements to produce architecture recommendations that align business needs with technology and data strategies.
Research emerging technologies like AI/ML platforms and cloud-native services to develop strategic viewpoints for business outcomes.
What we're looking for
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications.
A master's degree, PhD, or professional certifications are desirable for this role.
Applicants should have at least 8 years of industry-relevant experience.
Experience must include expertise in solution, platform, system, application, and data architecture.
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of business architecture and complex data flows.
Proficiency in designing scalable architectures that meet non-functional requirements like security, performance, and regulatory compliance is required.
Skills in data modeling, integration, quality, metadata management, and lifecycle management are necessary.
