Software Test Analyst Vice President

What you'll do

• Analyze product requirements, user stories, and technical designs to define test coverage.
• Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Identify, isolate, replicate, and document software defects using tools like Jira.
• Perform backend testing including API validation and database verification using SQL queries.
• Conduct re-testing and regression testing to verify that bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Software Test Analyst, QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes including STLC and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or HP ALM.
• Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries to verify backend data.
• Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
