Required expertise includes video streaming concepts like HLS and DASH, formats such as AVC and HEVC, and familiarity with Apple platform tools including Xcode, Swift, AVFoundation, and CoreMedia.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain automated test suites for new hardware and software products on visionOS.
Author new tests within existing frameworks to expand automated test coverage.
Lead bug triage from initial discovery through to final resolution on Apple client devices.
Support testing across the media lifecycle, including live capture, distribution, and on-device playback.
Assess stream health and playback stability for 3D playback and Apple Immersive Video.
Execute real-time testing and coordinate with engineering partners during live events.
Use Generative AI tools to perform log analysis, failure classification, and reporting.
Perform hands-on exploratory, reliability, and performance testing on visionOS hardware.

What we're looking for

10 years of experience in end-user client software quality engineering or media/video QA.
Experience writing test plans and coordinating test passes and reviews across engineering teams.
Experience leading and developing a team in a highly cross-functional environment.
Familiarity with video streaming concepts (HLS, DASH) and video formats (AVC, HEVC).
Understanding of test automation concepts and how they fit into quality strategies for OS frameworks.
Practical use of Generative AI tools to support test workflows like log analysis or report generation.
Experience building or maintaining automated test scripts, tools, or pipelines to run on Apple devices (preferred).
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred).
