What you'll do

  • Lead and grow the Digital Identity - Access & Rights team while maintaining or improving their velocity.
  • Own planning, technical output, and delivery for two Tier-0 platforms: Entitlements and Authorization.
  • Set and defend Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and hold on-call posture accountable for production quality.
  • Solve complex technical problems independently and drive initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Write incident reviews, roadmap updates, and promotion cases to shape the executive narrative for the platform.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and define technical strategy.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating scalable backend systems
  • Proven track record managing a Tier-0 critical platform with defined SLOs and on-call responsibilities
  • Deep expertise in API contracts, versioning, and managing multiple downstream consumers
  • Active daily use of modern AI coding tools to accelerate output and team throughput
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team initiatives without escalation authority
  • Hands-on technical skills in Java or Kotlin, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and data stores
  • Excellent written communication for TDDs, post-mortems, and roadmap updates
