Distinguished Software Engineer, Identity

What you'll do

• Architect the transition from permanent access to a Just-In-Time (JIT) model with zero standing privileges.
• Design a centralized, policy-as-code authorization fabric that is agnostic of the underlying technology stack.
• Build an intelligent platform that evaluates real-time telemetry like device posture and behavioral heuristics for access decisions.
• Develop developer-centric APIs and self-service capabilities to enable an internal Identity-as-a-Service culture.
• Ensure all identity systems meet stringent financial regulatory compliance and audit standards.
• Decompose complex identity problems into practical, operational solutions while ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Create technical documentation, code samples, and blog posts to share knowledge across the organization.
• Mentor and coach the engineering community to strengthen technical expertise in identity and distributed systems.

What we're looking for

• At least 7 years of experience in Software engineering and solution architecture.
• At least 7 years of experience in Enterprise architecture and design patterns.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of professional experience coding in Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift (preferred).
• 8+ years of professional experience in the full lifecycle of system development (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience with IAM (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience modernizing legacy systems (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience with AI coding tools (preferred).
