As an IAM Engineer at Wise in Tallinn, you will join a dynamic team focused on ensuring secure and efficient identity and access management. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing identity lifecycle processes, managing Okta integrations, building automation tools with Python, defining security policies, and collaborating with the Security team to address incidents and support audits. You’ll also provide training and documentation for global Support teams while maintaining compliance with modern authentication standards like SAML and OIDC/OAuth2. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with enterprise IdPs, IAM at scale, and a strong background in scripting languages such as Python, along with knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
Design and implement identity lifecycle management and access governance processes.
Administer Okta for identity provider services and manage third-party integrations.
Build automation tools in Python to enhance process efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
Define and maintain policies for MFA, device posture, and conditional access.
Support global Support teams with training, playbooks, and tooling for complex issues.
What we're looking for
Proficiency in Python or another programming language for automating IAM workflows and integrations.
Hands-on experience with Okta or a similar enterprise IdP, including SAML, OIDC/OAuth2, and SCIM.
Experience managing identity lifecycle and access governance at scale.
Strong cross-team collaboration skills and ownership mindset.
Typically 3+ years of relevant IAM/IT engineering experience.
Knowledge of DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD) and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
